Bio
Selina Sand is a visual artist living in Helsinki, Finland. She graduated in 2025 from art school Alfa in Helsinki. She is exhibiting regularly in various exhibitions.
Artist's statement
I seek to embrace the beauty of the moment and the ephemeral, at times bittersweet nature of life. My aim is to reflect the emotional undercurrents of human life in my art, evoke feelings and moods in the viewer, and to bring beauty and colors to everyday existence.
My work is figurative. I paint mainly with acrylics and oils, in pursuit of fusing the representational and the abstract. My paintings often lean towards surrealism, exploring landscapes of the human mind with symbolism and imagination.
